O Superman

O Superman is a choreographic and film-based exploration of the societal structures that shape bodily behavior, identity, and agency. Inspired by Laurie Anderson’s song of the same name, the work investigates how structures such as government, gender, and technology become embedded within the body through repetition, conditioning, and adaptation. Through minimal, repetitive movement and cinematic framing, the piece questions what it means to exist within systems we did not choose, while searching for moments of disruption and autonomy.
